The Baker House

Located at 621 Main Street in Jerome, Arizona sits a building commonly referred to as the "Ugly Pink House". Don't let the name put you off, many of Jerome's homes had names given to them rather than addresses. This structure was originally the home of the man who established Jerome's largest bakery. It was built in 1912. Purchased by the current owners in 2000, it has received a steady flow of improvements to all three floors. Currently they rent out the two lower floors as vacation rental suites for the traveler who wishes to stay a little longer in Jerome. Both suites have private baths, seperate bedrooms, living rooms and kitchens.

While the pink house may not be the most magnificent of buildings when viewed from the outside, (we are still working on it) it is a well built home with big porches and incredible views. Each apartment is furnished in it's own unique way and offers all the amenities you require for a comfortable stay. These apartments are perfect for those desiring to visit Jerome for a day or month. The Santa Fe Suite

The Santa Fe apartment is located on the second floor of the Baker house. It is a spacious one bedroom suite with full kitchen, private bathroom, large living room, laundry facilities and a great porch with incredible views. It has gas central heat and air conditioning.

The living room offers a tastefull Santa Fe style with a big comfortable couch, leather recliner, coffee table, 36" flat screen color satelite TV, and a big picture window to take in the great views. Travel through the french doors to enter the large bedroom complete with queen bed.

The kitchen has a gas stove, refridgerator, microwave, coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes and silverware. Everything you need for a short stay or a long vacation.
